COTTON Candy Table
Cotton Candy table is a sweet and romantic celebration of colours, their hues and their shades. The table is inspired from Cotton Candy which may remind one of their childhood. The hues in a cotton Candy are often a soft gradation from darker to lighter tones. We wanted to bring in this conceptof fluidity and softness in hard material. For this we created a series of different precast terrazzo blocks set aside eachother to form a soft gradation of colours. The base can be translated to the stick upon which the Cotton Candy is wrapped and eaten hand-held. The base is thus an abstraction of the material and the idea of holding it delicately with the hand.
CONSTELLATION TABLE
The sky, the universe, the stars and all celestial bodies have had the humans pondering with curiosity and awe from prehistoric times. Stars have decorated our skies since the birth of the universe. They often form perceived patterns to the human eye and are called the constellations. This is the very concept for this tabletop. The Chips of varied stones seem like stars in the binder, the vast canvas of the universe.
BIOLUMINISCENCE TABLE
Bioluminiscene Table - The idea comes up with the most beautiful creature on this living planet, the bioluminescence algae, a very tiny creature which completely changes the ambience of the high rocks and endless sea by their minuscule presence. On adding up thousands of such tiny creatures fills up the space with joy, in turns makes the space lively from the lifeless.
